Mole Removal Costs

in Mole Removal Information

The costs of mole removal can vary greatly. We recommend that you start with the cheaper methods as they are usually less invasive and carry less risk for complications and scarring.

Another thing to keep in mind is that mole removal procedures done at the doctors office are charged per mole while the procedures you can do at home usually are enough to remove 4 or 5 moles.

Here are the costs for mole removal methods from the cheapest to the most expensive.

  • Home Mole Removal: Around $20 total for the ingredients and a bit extra for a good guide. Takes around 20 minutes to prepare and thereafter around 5 minutes daily.
  • Mole Removal Creams: Around $50 for enough cream to remove 3-4 moles. Takes 5-10 minutes daily to apply.
  • Surgical Mole Removal: $50-$100 for the visit to the doctor for consultation plus $125-$250 for the surgery. Usually you might have to add an extra $50-$100 for a follow up. How long this takes depends on your doctor but expect a couple of months of waiting if the doctor is booked up.
  • Laser Mole Removal: $50-$100 for the visit to the doctor for consultation plus $200-$500 for the surgery. Keep in mind that this procedure is made over the course of 3-5 visits so if you need to travel to the clinic this could add a bit to the total. The procedure is done with a waiting period in between so how long it will take depends on your clinic, but a month is a good estimate.
